The Leaf

I enjoyed the vision you had for this photograph; the fact that nature now is starting to stand alone in a "paved paradise" really translates through this photo (even if it wasn't your vision). I liked the minimal focus in this composition that resides solely on the leaf itself, it's a beautiful contrast. It seems as though, however, I have seen something like this done before (hence the low points in originality). I also feel that the leaf doesn't carry much significance to it (when talking about emphasis of course) other then the focus on it. The fact that the colour of the photo is washed away a bit holds less interest to the focal point -the leaf- and more on the red lights in the blurry background. All-in-all a sufficient piece.
